Do you do this?
Do you have the tendency to look around what other women are doing, how much they are doing and how they are doing it?
You may marvel at how your friend is running a side hustle, along with her regular job, and she is exceling at both!
Another one is following a new diet plan that has helped her get back in shape and look AMAZING.
Another woman has enrolled in a class after work and studying for a degree.
You marvel at the neighbor who is homeschooling her kids.
You admire the sister in law who cooks everything from scratch, makes her own bread even.
You look at all these hard working and utterly gifted, talented women and tell yourself that I should be DOING ALL that!
Do you try to stuff your To-Do list with more and more impossible things just to keep up with them?
Do you beat yourself for not being productive 24/7?
This is what happens……..
You use other women’s giftedness, their productivity as a yardstick to measure your own inadequacies.
Instead of motivating you, do you let the productivity, talent and determination of other women demotivate you.
Do you realize that you are gifted and productive, but in your own individual way!
You have your own productivity jam!
It’s important to cheer other women, build them up, fix their crown!
….without tearing down yours…without downplaying yours!
But it’s equally important to recognize and acknowledge your own talent, hard work, contribution, strength, productivity!
That woman in the mirror deserves praise!
This Women’s Day, I want to remind you that
You are amazing just the way you are!
You are admirable for how much you do!
You are worthy, valuable, and lovable!
Never forget that!
Don’t forget to celebrate yourself this Women’s Day!
